Ethical relations encountered in the delivery of public services are called corporate ethics. The institutional ethical principles of ‘DEURPUAM’ are listed as follows;
1. Professional ethics principles are observed in all activities carried out by the center, and the members of the central board of directors are primarily responsible for the adoption and implementation of the principles. This responsibility also includes giving messages that encourage exemplary behavior and the application of principles.
2. In addition to adopting the ethical rules determined by the Turkish Psychological Counseling Association, applicable laws and regulations regarding the field of psychological counseling are followed.
3. A flexible model with a holistic perspective is followed by adapting different theories, methods and technological developments to all activities
4. The principles of transparency, openness and accountability are observed in all works, statements and statements made by the Center.
5. Based on the principles of honesty, honesty and reliability, culturally sensitive works are carried out, and a fair, equal and fair service is provided.
6. Respect for the autonomy and free will of the client is essential in all counseling practices given by the Center.
7. Education, training, supervised experience, based on official professional experience is applied only within the limits of competence.
8. To potential or current clients, students, based on age, culture, disability, ethnicity, race, religion, spirituality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, language preference, socioeconomic status, immigration status, or any other legal basis. No discrimination is made against employees or research participants, and discrimination is not tolerated.
9. When reporting the evaluation reports containing professional activities and decisions to the official authorities, they act correctly, honestly and objectively.
10. Scientific activities are multi-dimensionally planned in terms of method, process, measurement and evaluation procedures and participants.
